Whisky has been used in cooking for ages. It adds flavour and complexity to sweet and savory dishes. Whisky is aged in American Oak which is rich in vanillins and we all know that vanilla is delicious. It is also aged in Sherry Casks – which add fruity notes to the spirit – yum! Whisky adds depth and character while also adding moisture to baked goods. In a nutshell – whisky is a magical ingredient and Aunt Beth is a genius (JK)
