Get on Board with JFM!

It’s an exciting time in our organization! We are looking for more movers and shakers to help us achieve our agenda by joining us on our volunteer JFM board.

While we are particularly interested in hearing from people with business acumen/financial and/or accounting expertise, anyone who is passionate about local food and farming, or becoming involved with the Junction community by volunteering with us is encouraged to apply! Although an asset, previous experience on a board is not required.

Qualifications

  • – Ability to work well in a highly collaborative team setting
  • – Enthusiasm, determination and eager to contribute to our organization
  • – Willingness to learn quickly, acquire new skill sets, and take on new tasks
  • – Can help support and value our great volunteers and community partners

Requirements

  • – The average time commitment of a board member is about 5 hrs/month (though is subject to fluctuation)
  • – Attend monthly board meetings, held on a week night
  • – Additional work in between board meetings, as determined by organizational needs and events
