Come out Saturday morning to celebrate all the good that Farmers’ Markets bring to the neighbourhood! Join us for our weekly farmers market at the Junction Train Platform, 9 am – 1 pm to continue your celebration of summer with local food, music and community. You’ll find the freshest seasonal produce, tasty artisan goods, sweet entertainment, and other diversions.
Get your weekly local veggies, eggs, cheese, bread, honey, preserves, mushrooms and meat from our wonderful local farmers and food artisans: Bizjak Farms, de la terre bakery, Fiddlehead Farm, Fifthtown Artisan Cheese, Kendal Hills Farm, Oakridges Finest, Red Dog Farm, Spade and Spoon, Toronto Bee Rescue, Twin Creeks Farm, Willo’ Wind Farm,and Wheelbarrow Farm. Pick up a delicious grain-free, gluten-free treat from our returning favourite, Little Almond Baking. And, discover The Baker’s Bar diverse cupcake flavours. What happens when a baker goes for stout beer or dark lager as an ingredient? Yum!

Music to your ears –
Roger Zuraw is an award-winning songwriter who will perform, among others, his Canadiana themed songs. His live performances include Nathan Philips Square, Harbourfront Centre, Palais Royale, and he always enjoys playing at the Junction Farmers Market! See Roger at the Junction Train Platform this Saturday, 9 to 11am!
Matthew Patience studied Classical Music and Spanish Flamenco at York University. In his spare time, he builds virtual reality games, creates 3D printed gadgets and composes songs to share his love of music. 11am to 1pm at JFM, Matthew will be showcasing Classic Hits from the 70’s & 80’s, and alternative rock from the 90’s & 2000’s.

Recently renovated, Annette Community Recreation Centre is an urban community centre serving the Junction and surrounding community. Facilities include a swimming pool, weight room, dance studio, multipurpose rooms and a gymnasium. Have questions about the new Fun Guide?
