It’s our favourite time of year when summer produce is at its height and fall produce begins to pop up! Come out Saturday morning to celebrate all the goodness that Farmers’ Markets bring to the neighbourhood! Join us for our weekly farmers market at the Junction Train Platform, 9 am – 1 pm to continue your celebration of summer with local food, music and community. You’ll find the freshest seasonal produce, tasty artisan goods, sweet entertainment, and other diversions.
Get your weekly local veggies, eggs, cheese, bread, honey, preserves, mushrooms and meat from our wonderful local farmers and food artisans: Bizjak Farms, Fiddlehead Farm, Fifthtown Artisan Cheese, Kendal Hills Farm, Oakridges Finest, Robinson Bread, Spade and Spoon, Toronto Bee Rescue, Twin Creeks Farm, Willo’ Wind Farm,and Wheelbarrow Farm. There are tasty treats for everyone! Bring ’em home or enjoy Market Day eats while you shop! Richard and Real Empanada is back with their Colombian-style eats. Get your hands on Dvourr‘s breakfast deliciousness or a baked treat from Root Farms Baked Goods. And, top your market shopping off with a sweet cupcake by The Baker’s Bar! Returning this week, We-Hub presents “Fusion Fit Foods” offering their specialty protein balls created from fresh and local ingredients. JFM fav, Malty & Hoppy Delicacy will have Ontario craft beer-infused artisanal treats! Be sure to ask Francoise for recipe tricks and pairings that will be sure to impress any dinner guest! And, as always – your market-sourced picnic meal isn’t complete with out that special addition of Tawse wines and cider!

Toronto Sons Music is back with their piano and violin duo this week! See this dynamic duo at the Junction Train Platform this Saturday, 9 to 11:30am!
Matthew Patience studied Classical Music and Spanish Flamenco at York University. In his spare time, he builds virtual reality games, creates 3D printed gadgets and composes songs to share his love of music. 11:30am to 1pm, Matthew will be showcasing Classic Hits from the 70’s & 80’s, and alternative rock from the 90’s & 2000’s.
