We’re enjoyin’ the sunny days of summer, and the produce (and our tummies) couldn’t be happier! Join us for our weekly neighbourhood farmers market at the Junction Train Platform 9 am – 1 pm to continue the celebration of local food, music and community. You’ll find the freshest seasonal produce, tasty artisan goods, sweet entertainment, and other excitement.
Get your weekly local veggies, eggs, cheese, bread, honey, preserves, mushrooms and meat from our wonderful local farmers and food artisans: Bizjak Farms, de la terre bakery, Fiddlehead Farm, Fifthtown Artisan Cheese, Kendal Hills Farm, Oakridges Finest, Spade and Spoon, Twin Creeks Farm, Willo’ Wind Farm,and Wheelbarrow Farm. There are tasty treats for everyone to bring home or enjoy while you shop! This week, a grab a neighbourhood-famed breakie sandwich by The Urban Swine or a sumptuous baked treat from Root Farm Baked Goods. Returning this week, We-Hub presents “Made for You” meals offering dietarily-mindful specialties like their popular quiches. And, your market-sourced picnic meal isn’t complete with out that special addition of Leaning Post Wines! New this week, the Real Empanada is serving up delectable hot eats for your market day shopping.

Music to your ears –
Joelle Crigger loves entertaining on her fiddle, and has been doing so since age 6. She is an accomplished violinist, fiddler, pianist and a keen step dancer who enjoys music of all kinds. Joelle is a multiple winner of the Canadian Open Fiddle Championship in her age category, and has been thrilled to be a member of the Toronto Symphony Youth Orchestra for the past three years. Stop by the train platform to hear Joelle’s performance Saturday, 9 am to 11 am!
Patrick O’Neill
In 2010, a year after major aortic-valve replacement surgery, Patrick O’Neill began to teach himself to play the 5-row Chromatic Button Accordion. Enjoy his wide ranging repertoire of waltzes, reels, jigs & more at the Junction Train Platform this Saturday, 11:30 am to 1pm!
