The Weekend is Upon Us, Raptors Champs!
Join us this Father’s Day weekend, Saturday morning at the Junction Train Platform between 9 am -1 pm for the freshest seasonal produce, artisan goods, sweet entertainment, and other excitement!
Get your weekly local veggies, eggs, cheese, bread, honey, preserves, mushrooms and meat from our wonderful local farmers and food artisans: de la terre bakery, Emily Rose Apiaries, Fiddlehead Farm, Fifth Town Artisan Cheese Company, The Fresh Veggies, Kendal Hills Game Farm, Oakridges Finest, The Smoke Bloke, Twin Creeks Farm, We-hub herbs & produce, Willo’ Wind Farm, Wheelbarrow Farm.
There are also tasty treats to bring home or enjoy while you shop! This week we welcome Chic Peas Veg and their vegan cuisine with East African flair. Taste some delicious flavours while learning more about Chic Peas Veg cooking classes and workshops. Also, new to the market, enjoy Bayfield Provisions slow roasted, made by hand granola specialties, featuring Deebs Yogurt. Learn more about our regular JFM vendors on our website!
Joining us for market day SUN, we have some encore pop-up and rotating vendors visiting with us! Better Bites Blvd is popping in again with their 100% natural and vegan Guilty Pleasures desserts. Culture City joins us for an encore with naturally cultured goods, including thier miso and tempeh – bravo! Root Farm Baked Goods, is serving up tasty danishes, doughnuts + more. And, don’t forget to pick up that fresh loaf from bi-weekly vendor Robinson Bread to enjoy along side an awarding-winning bottle from Leaning Post Wines – the beginnings of your most excellent market-sourced meal!

Music to your ears – Roger Zuraw is an award-winning songwriter who will perform, among others, his Canadiana themed songs. Roger’s music has been featured on CBC Radio, BLUZ-FM with Danny Marks – a Jazz.FM91 programmHis live performances include Nathan Philips Square, Harbourfront Centre, Palais Royale, and he always enjoys playing at the Junction Farmers Market!
At the Community Table – Annette Street Library will be present on the Junction Train Platform with resources and information. And, most importantly – a storytime! Join us at 10am for storybooks, songs and fun with your local librarian.
Green 13 returns this week! Come out + learn about neighbourhood stewardship! They are currently seeking volunteers to help water Junction area street trees.
