Dougal is a Gaelic name that means “dark stranger.” He has been creating music all his life, sometimes just in his imagination. He has played with different rock, jazz and other genres of groups, the Quintet, the Vacant Lot, Grub Street Banana Band, and Rockwood. He currently concentrates on songwriting, guitar playing and finding appreciative audiences.
Jason Hogan composes for film and television and also has a hair-brained (but very entertaining) side project, ‘Father’ Seamus O’Leary. Stop by the train platform to listen to Jason & Matt while you munch on delicious market delights!
Joelle Crigger loves entertaining on her fiddle, and has been doing so since age 6. She is an accomplished violinist, fiddler, pianist and a keen step dancer who enjoys music of all kinds. Joelle is a multiple winner of the Canadian Open Fiddle Championship in her age category, and has been thrilled to be a member of the Toronto Symphony Youth Orchestra for the past three years.

Matt Bates is a solo artist in the singer-songwriter style with a principal radio category of adult contemporary. Matt's songs are about relationships, art, and personal enlightenment - feel-good hummable tunes. Matt has lived in Toronto most of his life, most recently in the Junction area before moving to his new home in the country north of Orangeville.
Matthew Patience studied Classical Music and Spanish Flamenco at York University. In his spare time, he builds virtual reality games, creates 3D printed gadgets and composes songs to share his love of music. 11am to 1pm at JFM, Matthew will be showcasing Classic Hits from the 70's & 80's, and alternative rock from the 90's & 2000's.
In 2010, a year after major aortic-valve replacement surgery, Patrick O'Neill began to teach himself to play the 5-row Chromatic Button Accordion. Enjoy his wide ranging repertoire of waltzes, reels, jigs & more at the Junction Train Platform!
Roger Zuraw is an award-winning songwriter who will perform, among others, his Canadiana themed songs. His live performances include Nathan Philips Square, Harbourfront Centre, Palais Royale, and he always enjoys playing at the Junction Farmers Market!
